Section / 01
About these terms
These terms apply to website visitors, purchasers of automation products, customers requesting setup or customization, and users of supplied workflow files, documentation, prompts, mappings, or related materials.
Other policies may also apply, including our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Delivery Policy.
Section / 02
What Dots Automations provides
Dots Automations provides digital automation systems and related resources designed to help automate business processes. A product may include:
- Workflow or import files and automation logic.
- Prompts, mappings, and configuration examples.
- Documentation and setup instructions.
- Testing guidance and supporting resources.
Optional services may include done-for-you setup, configuration, customization, or workflow modification. These services are available only where described or separately agreed.
The exact contents, requirements, and capabilities of each product should be described on its product page.
Section / 03
Product requirements and compatibility
Many automation products rely on third-party tools or accounts. These may include n8n, Zapier, Make, OpenAI, Claude, CRMs, email providers, spreadsheets, e-commerce platforms, and other APIs or connected systems.
Customers are responsible for reviewing the listed requirements before purchasing or deploying an automation.
Compatibility can depend on factors including:
- The customer's account plan and enabled features.
- API availability, permissions, and usage limits.
- Regional availability of a platform or feature.
- Changes made by third-party platforms.
- The customer's own systems, data, and configuration.
No product is guaranteed to be universally compatible with every account, plan, region, or configuration.
Section / 04
Third-party accounts and costs
Unless a product page expressly says otherwise, the product price does not include fees charged by third-party platforms or service providers.
Customers may need to pay separately for:
- Automation-platform subscriptions.
- AI model or API usage.
- CRM accounts and related licences.
- Email, messaging, or notification services.
- Hosting and other connected software.
Third-party services are controlled by their respective providers and are subject to their own terms, pricing, availability, and technical limitations. Dots Automations does not control and is not responsible for third-party price increases, outages, policy changes, or discontinued APIs.
Section / 05
Licence to use purchased products
Unless a product page or separate written agreement states otherwise, purchasing a product gives the customer a non-exclusive licence to use and modify that product for the customer's own internal business operations. The customer may make internal copies reasonably required to operate, test, or back up the system.
Ownership of the original Dots Automations product and materials is not transferred. The licence does not grant a right to:
- Resell the workflow or template as a standalone product.
- Redistribute source workflow files publicly.
- Upload purchased files to a template marketplace.
- Share purchased products with unrelated third parties.
- Repackage substantially unchanged products for resale.
- Claim authorship or ownership of original Dots Automations materials.
If you want to deploy a purchased product for unrelated third-party clients as part of a commercial service, additional licensing terms may apply. Contact us before doing so.
Section / 06
Intellectual property
Dots Automations retains its rights in original workflows, documentation, website and product content, product design and structure, and prompts or mappings created by Dots Automations, subject to the licence granted under these terms.
Dots Automations does not claim ownership of third-party platforms, third-party trademarks, customer-owned data, or third-party APIs and software. References to third-party products or platforms are for compatibility or integration purposes and do not imply ownership or endorsement unless stated.
Section / 07
Customer responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- Maintaining the required third-party accounts and plans.
- Obtaining appropriate permissions for connected systems and data.
- Protecting API keys, passwords, access tokens, and other credentials.
- Reviewing automation logic before production use.
- Testing workflows in their own environment with appropriate data.
- Monitoring important automations and responding to failures.
- Maintaining backups where appropriate.
- Complying with laws and obligations applicable to their business and data.
Customers should not place passwords, private API keys, or access tokens in ordinary contact forms.
Section / 08
AI-assisted features
Some products may use AI models for classification, extraction, summarization, drafting, scoring, routing assistance, or other automated analysis.
AI-generated or AI-assisted outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inconsistent and should be reviewed where the outcome is important.
Automation should not replace appropriate human review for high-impact, regulated, or consequential decisions. Customers remain responsible for deciding whether an AI-assisted workflow is suitable for their use case and for applying appropriate review and oversight.
Section / 09
Testing and production use
Customers should test automations with representative data before relying on them in production and should continue to monitor workflows that support important business processes.
Automation behaviour can be affected by:
- Third-party API or platform changes.
- Expired, revoked, or incorrectly scoped credentials.
- Rate limits, quotas, and usage restrictions.
- Platform outages or network failures.
- Unexpected, incomplete, or incorrectly formatted input data.
- Changes to customer configuration or connected systems.
Automations are not promised to be error-free, permanently compatible, continuously available, or suitable without testing for every environment.
Section / 10
Purchases and pricing
Displayed prices are in the currency shown on the website. Current products are intended as one-time purchases unless a product page clearly states otherwise; subscription billing is not currently offered. Applicable third-party costs remain separate.
Prices may change for future purchases. A price change does not alter a completed purchase unless required by law or separately agreed.
When online payments are enabled, payment may be handled by an external payment processor under that provider's terms. Online checkout is not currently active on this website.
A completed purchase does not transfer intellectual-property ownership beyond the licence granted under these terms.
Section / 11
Digital delivery
Purchased digital products may be delivered electronically using the method described at checkout or in the order confirmation when purchasing and delivery systems are enabled. Delivery timing and access method can depend on the product and order process.
Detailed delivery terms are provided in our Delivery Policy.
Section / 12
Refunds and cancellations
Refund and cancellation eligibility depends on our Refund Policy, the type of product or service purchased, the delivery or service status, the circumstances of the request, and any rights that cannot legally be limited.
Review that policy for the circumstances in which a refund may be considered and how to request a review.
Section / 13
Setup and customization services
Done-for-you setup or custom modification may require customer-provided access or configuration information, may depend on third-party systems, and may have a separate scope, timeline, and price from the underlying digital product.
Work outside the agreed scope may require a separate quote or customer approval before it begins.
Section / 14
Support
Support scope can vary by product or service and should be read together with the applicable product description or separate agreement. No 24-hour availability or fixed response time is promised unless expressly agreed in writing.
For product or setup questions, use our Contact page.
Section / 15
Prohibited use
Dots Automations products and services must not be used to:
- Violate applicable laws or regulations.
- Gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data.
- Create, deliver, or distribute malware or harmful code.
- Bypass access controls, security measures, or usage restrictions.
- Abuse APIs, platforms, or connected services.
- Infringe intellectual-property or other third-party rights.
- Unlawfully collect, monitor, use, or process personal information.
Section / 16
Availability and changes
Products, documentation, and supporting resources may be updated or discontinued as the service evolves. Third-party integrations may also change independently of Dots Automations.
Perpetual updates are not promised unless a product page specifically includes them. Where updates are included, their scope is governed by what was stated at the time of purchase or in a separate written agreement.
Section / 17
Disclaimer of guarantees
Automation systems are provided to help customers automate processes, but specific business outcomes, revenue, savings, response rates, or performance improvements are not guaranteed. Results depend on the process, data, implementation, third-party services, customer decisions, and ongoing operation of the workflow.
Product descriptions identify intended capabilities, but they should not be read as a guarantee that every automation will produce the same result in every customer environment.
Section / 18
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Dots Automations should not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from third-party outages, customer configuration, API or platform changes, misuse of an automation, or a customer's failure to test, review, or monitor a workflow.
Any assessment of responsibility should take account of the product or service supplied, the agreed scope, the customer's use, and the laws that apply.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would not be permitted by applicable law.
Section / 19
Privacy
Personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy, including information provided through the website, support requests, and future purchasing or service workflows.
Section / 20
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as Dots Automations products, purchasing, delivery, support, or other services evolve. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision.
Material changes should normally apply prospectively where appropriate. Continued use after an update may be subject to the revised terms where permitted and after reasonable notice when notice is required.
Section / 21
Governing law
No specific governing jurisdiction is stated while the final legal entity and business-location wording for this website remains unconfirmed. Applicable rights, obligations, and laws may depend on the locations of the customer and the business, the nature of the transaction, and any mandatory legal protections.
This section can be updated when the relevant legal entity and jurisdiction details are finalized.
